Good morning, we have just purchased a holiday home in the area but have a leak in the water heater which is tripping the electrics. Does anyone have any idea of the cost to replace this or any more efficient alternatives we could consider.

Leroy Merlin have a good selection of electric water heaters, prices start from as little as 90 euro rising to 300 euro on size, capacity , make and model, they may even have details on plumbers available to install, it may be also worth trying a local DIY shop as they can supply and know local tradesmen. It may be a good idea to get this sorted quickly as water and electrics don't mix.

Hi There is a Ferreteria in La Florida opposite "The Abbey" they stock new boilers of different shapes, sizes and prices and also can provide a plumber who can fit same. Very quick and efficient service would highly recommend. Gillian

Leroy Merlin usually have an offer on for £100 to fit/replace.If you are diy competent easy enough job,I’ve done mine and it took about 2 hrs.Ordered mine from ManoMano free delivery and a better heater than the same price point at Leroys with temp read out and controlable temperature.
