Better talk to then "Arquitecto Municipal" first and see what you can do and what not.

I believe that if you live on a community you may have to get their permission first.

Hi slinker,

Cheryl is correct - if you live on a "community", you have to obtain permission in the first instance via your president/administrator, usually through a meeting of the community; once agreed, you have to apply for a "minor works" or "major works" licence via your Town Hall, depending on the extent of the work.

We don't live on a community, but when we wanted to build a hardstanding for a 5m x 3m shed in 2017, the minor works licence at our Town Hall cost €33.

Kind regards,

Kim
