Good evening all. I’m bringing a Firestick, so I can get British/Irish TV, using a ‘hotspot’ from my phone. Any advice the best ‘Data phone SIM card’ deal, available and cost and where can I buy it. Or is there another short term solution for 7 days. Appreciate any advice?

You may well find that running a VPN over the Spanish mobile phone network to be fraught with difficulties.

The first thing you'll need to know of course is which of the Spanish mobile operators actually provide adequate coverage at wherever it is you'll be staying, something which you may not be able to discover until you're actually there.

Only when armed with that info will you be able to start looking for a suitable SIM.

I wish you luck but suspect that with only a week it's likely that you'll be spending more time looking for a workable solution than actually watching any fruits of your labours!

You would probably be better off renting a device for your stay, something like this perhaps.

Hi, try https://www.lobster.es/pay-as-you-go-plans/

Lobster are the best. You have to have an account with them but you can freez your account when you are not in Spain. I Pay 12 euros, use it for about 3 weeks and then Park it. You can park it upto 12 months. It is 28 days contract, so if you use it for say 14 days and then park the sim card. You then have a further 14 days before any money goes out of your account.

You will find a sells person in Torreveija Harbanaras in the middle floor.
