I heard yesterday from friends of mine who are currently in La Mata that it's still under construction so I would imagine that it's highly unlikely to be open for Easter. We fly out again on 27/4 but I'll be surprised if it'll be open by then either.

We’re flying over at Easter so look forward to seeing what’s been done. It certainly looked bigger than it previously was. I’d be shocked if they didn’t provide a restaurant similar to the one at Yugo garden which is very inside.  As to the rear access, that has been closed up, reopened and closed up over the years but definitely was very handy as a short cut to the strip

I was about to say that I couldn’t imagine tourists wanting a sports bar but suddenly thought about JF’s Sports bar near us which is packed out summer and winter with casual drinkers as opposed to diners  Occasionally, they have music and they have to close the doors!  So busy   In my opinion, the Strip will benefit from a good restaurant/ bar .so many Indian restaurants which I’m told are good. Weber go there as it simply doesn’t appeal.  Loved Don  Frederico’s restaurant years ago. Coffee outside Megani’s restaurant is great though.

Bet they’ll have this place up and ready by the end of May
