Hi I want to buy an apartment or bungalow but have a phobia of snakes. Need I be worried? Also which areas have least lol.
We bought in La Zenia about four years ago, used the property initially as a holiday home until we moved here permanently about eighteen months ago. In that time only seen one snake that was little more than a large worm, really nothing to worry about, unless you are planning on tramping through rough waste ground.

I have lived about 20 minutes' drive inland from Torrevieja and have never seen a snake in almost 14 years!
Thanks for replying. Is there less chance in an apartment. X
Thanks. Is nearer the coast safer. X

I really don't know how snakes are with stairs or operating a lift, LOL.
Sorry but couldn't help myself there.
They could probably use drains and pipes etc, you just keep them covered.

Forget it! I live out in the huerta and I'm lucky if I see one snake a year. When I try to take a picture or pick one up they always do a runner.
Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't around.
Just sayin'

Hi. Not seen any snakes in the campo, only baby lizards.
I can recommend a property consultant who can help you find a apartment or
bungalow,, they were brilliant,,, sunbeachvillas.com.
Good luck....
Snakes. Lived here 20 years. seen many. many. 10 or 20 a year.
Only one (the viper) many sorts (tend to avoid humans). don´t panic. Many other creatures more dangerous.
