Hi can anyone recommend a solicitor in Denia or Javea area for purchasing a property, the seller has recommended one but I think I should get my own for peace of mind

Hi Neil

Anton Abogados in Javea. Run by Oscar Anton. I haven't used them for a property purchase but they are the Administration for the Urbanisation where my rental is near Jesus Pobre. They also have a good Gestoria subsidiary called Arenal Administration who did my letting licence.

You are right not to use the Abogado recommend by the agent or vendor, also do not under any circumstances pay a reservation fee, a deposit, or any money whatsoever to an agent.

I have been recommended a solicitor for a villa purchase of Marti associates in Jalon ? Has anyone ever used them ? Any advice would be helpful.

I can recommend Miguel Angel Piano in Denia -

They acted for my father to purchase a property Since then they have transferred that property into my name, set up a Spanish Will, taken care of property taxes and helped with obtaining an NIE njmber. They are professional, give good advice and don't charge for every little thing. I would definitely recommend them, they are excellent.

Hi Neil- i have used VivesPons- Calle Pare Pere 9 Bajo 03700 Denia- tele 966 432624 (www.vivespons.com) for purchasing & selling houses in La Sella and sourceing residencia, last wills etc

also have an associate company for building reforms repairs etc which is handy- veey proffesional
