Where to visit a good doctor. The walk in centre Cabo Roig was useless and even after a day in Torrevieja Hospital having blood test, x-ray etc. 2 weeks ago was also a waste of time. My partner's illness is not improving and we don't know where to go next. What is the cost of a GP appointment, without medical insurance?

Hi We use the private clinic just past cabo roig walk in centre called Centro Medico Virgen de la Caridad Campoamor (beside Consum) Telephone 965 32 22 80 maybe they would be able to help. Good luck
How much do they charge for an appointment?
No follow up appointment was given or details about what to do next, just a prescription for some tablets, unrelated to his present problem, that he had run out of.
My partner was given a temporary SIP card after presenting his passport and EHIC and this lasts for 6 months. (I have a SIP card as I'm a pensioner, but he is a lot younger.) I haven't seen my doctor since I registered and don't know the procedure. When we went to the centre yesterday as a walk-in, he was only given a prescription for an inhaler & paracetamol and was given some oxygen for about 10 minutes but no diagnosis or information has been given (the doctor did speak English).

There is a private practice below Beach Body Gym in Cabo Roig, they charged me 57 euros for a one off consultation and examination haven't had to go back so can't personally recommend him, but two friends who who have personal medical insurance say he is very good.
