Today I shopped groceries in La Zenia ‘s Lidl. As a rule I do not check the receipt. When I return home I looked at the receipt. I bought Turron Blando for €0.99 yet in the receipt was Turron Crema costing €2.49. This might have been a mistake I am sure. However, from now on I am going to check my receipt. Is this helpful to others? Kind regard Luna34

Just the German supermarkets you check? Tesco are terrible, their software on the tills doesn't always match the shelf prices.

Not Lidl. I was overcharged in small supermarket in La Florida a few days ago. Bought some groceries including some french bread on promotion 80 cents and when i got home looked at the receipt and had been charged 2.60 euros for an item I hadnt bought instead. Digestive biscuits. Not much of a bargain.
Thanks Graham C I will do this as I now keep receipts. Iceland in Croydon they ask you in the till if you want receipt. I am very conscious of not wasting paper, I mostly say so. When I returned once with their rotten Spinach, they asked for receipt. This is cheating to me. There is so much cheating with groceries are going on. Lidl the sponge is so thin that falls apart when I use it, unlike in the past. Their own chocolate has been cut in sizes of the cubes. Morrison and Lidl cut the size of their tissues.
I find this horrible that I cannot trust anymore anybody. To become continually suspicious it is not something I thought I would have to become. But I have no choice. What bothers me am I likely to blame an innocent person of cheating in the future?!!!!Luna34
Unfortunately Luna you can't trust anyone 🙄, anywhere they can fiddle us they will , I've recently contacted Tesco's because their PG tips T bags kept splitting , Tesco has given me a £5 refund , I've now contacted PG direct and I'm waiting on a reply in writing , I've very rarely complained in the past but I will every time from now on .
Hi Showbags, it is great that you have created a change in your behaviour. However, it worries me that all such changes did not come from self awareness, but from being compelled by others’ cheating ways. I much rather choose the change in my behaviour, rather than others’ behaviour. I have worked for 27 years as a preventative therapist. I tried hard to help others to choose how their lives to be unfolded out of their free will by constantly choosing what they want without being afraid of how others see them. I love to be free as a bird with my choices. Having to become suspicious of others’ sick intentions constrict my free will, something I dislike.
