Luna - get a life. If that's all you've got to worry about your life must be wonderful. Just check your receipts, get over it and if it bothers you that much don't shop there again. Honestly, suck it up and move on please.

Why th emphasis on ‘cheating’? Cheating implies deliberation - many honest mistakes can be made for a variety of reasons. My personal experience has always been with any of the supermarkets, that if one has doubts or a complaint, or a mistake on the bill, they are always willing to rectify it. Its simply not worth the hassle to them not to, and their turnover is so vast that the idea of them attempting to chisel customers out of a few pence is simply ludicrous.

I am also afraid that the only way that products can be sold at artificially low prices - which is what we all demand - is to alter the size/weight/contents of the product. This si usually signalled by labelling such as ‘new size’ or similar and is rarely deliberately concealed.

Dear Showbags, an English culture which Ioved, slowly it is being altered for the worse. Do we want to be suspicious of each other, or do we want to be less hostile to each other and considerate to each other? Do we want to always think of number one and live a life in defensively with each. Once we open this cane of worm, how do we stop it. These are quastions I ask myself now that so many young people killing each other. This erosion of the English culture has to be protected by all of us. The over charging is not what concerns me, it is this erosion that is becoming cancerous in our culture. I know if only think of ourselves, who are we. Thank you for letting me express my opinion. Ghosh! just because I started this subject with something insignificant it took me to express something I care for, erosion of European and English culture. (Have lived in England since 1962, this is why I refer to English culture). What everyone got stuck in the short changed in Lidl. I was responding to someone’s response. So let us go of the subject I have moved away ages ago. Lu
