Great news! Have just heard our fridge/freezer (house bought in April!) has stopped working!! Have checked out Leroy Merlin but they seem expensive. Any tips on where to go for a reasonably priced replacement. BTW washing machine was leaking last time we were there so that might need replacing too.

I hope you have been enjoying your Place In the Sun, since April, and very sorry to hear your fridge freezer has given up the ghost.
I am sure others will post up with good suggestions of where to look for a replacement but I can suggest Confirama, up the escalators above alcampo at La Zenia Boulevard, or Milar at Punta Prima near the N332.

Definitely Euronics in El Galan.
Our washing machine went wrong while had renters in the house. I phoned Euronics, chose the machine from those in stock, paid via bank transfer and it was delivered, installed and old one removed the next day. You can't get that level of service anywhere else!
I agree Euronics service is excellent.
Milar at Punta Prima will not be beaten on price, they also install the new and remove the old machines.
