Daffodil bulbs

Hi.
Can you buy daffodil/tulip bulbs and the like in Spain? Shouldn't think you can bring them over from the UK?
I believe you can bring them in from the UK, same as from Holland etc but I've had little luck with them in the ground here. I don't put much in pots either as they get baked in the sun and dry out so quickly.

Ok thank you. I bought my house last October and been back a couple of times since then and could see there were a few things in pots but was quite surprised when a neighbour went round and took these photos.. Got some Amaryllis ( I think thats what they are) that are thriving, maybe because they're a little bit shielded by a hedge. They've not been watered since February so have done well.
Would anyone know what this tree is? It was completely bare last time I was there but its lovely now!

I ordered some daffodil bulbs from a website called Farmer Gracy when they had a free p&p offer. They all came up - just in time for St David's Day!

Hi Joanne60. Wow, how lovely. I’m no “real” gardener but I do love gardens, flowers and plants. I think they are Amaryllis, but I’m no expert. If someone confirms they are Amaryllis, please let me know. I’m very impressed with their ability to survive in what doesn’t appear to be overly large pots, without water, since February. It’s really difficult to keep much other than cacti when you’re not in Spain full time. I’m inclined to give them a whirl 🤪🥂

Yes I was really surprised how nice the garden looks. The people before me had it as their holiday home and were obviously savvy planters! Hope to be able to fly over when I can.
