Thanks for letting me join the group. Me and my wife are moving to Los Dolsos this week. We have been living in Punta Prima for two years so we know the area. I wonder if there is a problem with mosquitos in Los Dolsos and Villamartin?

Hi. I think a lot of areas in Torrevieja have a problem with mosquitoes including those 2 areas. The problem is worsened by such factors as absent property owners leaving stagnant water in swimming pools, having fir trees in their gardens etc. If the mosquitoes can’t breed because there’s no water then there be far fewer mosquitoes. The climate here is far warmer all year round which doesn’t help. Paul.
