It is not a money making scheme. ThecSpamish are trying to get their infrastructure and communities into order. This is a government directive. It is for the benefit of all. To stop people in the communities Making their communities unpleasant for others by doing things to the property that makes it beautiful to them but an eyesore for everyone else. It will catch you in the end if you do as you please, when you come to sell, as the deeds need to be updated and fines imposed need to be cleared. It costs nothing but time to the town hall andcspeak to the architects, who I have found to be very knowledgeable and helpful. Anyway it is your choice, so don't get offensive and defensive if people are trying to advise you.
