I'm looking for a qualified gas person to come and have a look at my hob it doesn't light with the clicker when you want one of the burners on one does light with clicker but won't stay on, needs a few clicks and a bit of a shake, surely this isn't right. Thank you in advance.

Is this happening with all burners or just one and  do they light and stay alight with a flame? If you have butane and it is stored outside I have read that it is not as good as propane in the cold weather although I'm sure it is 5 degrees and below only. Just a thought before you incur costs.

We have propane and this problem is all burners yes, when they eventually light they stay lit and have a good flame, it's just the constant having to click getting a flame then it going off its difficult to explain. Thanks for your response.
