yes he speaks a little english, but he uses google translate, his wife speaks good english so he gets her to phone once everything is confirmed. Good thing with Nissan is they have the car, and only 3 models, low - middle - high. He told me "as english" you don't buy "high" as this is leather seats and we sweat too much on them. We had Qashqui 360, 360 cameras, sat nav, reads road signs ( yep ) displays speed limit on dash and your speed if you exceed it. Brilliant car and service, takes a bit to get paperwork done with buying it as an english person, but better than a hire car.

We park it at Umbrella parking at Alicante Airport, annual parking, €250 inside parking, as 2 & 4 years ago hail stones were size of tennis balls and thousands of cars ruined, insurance never paid out on most.

hi ..my names Mike,i live in Salinas near Monovar..I,ve just bought a new car from a dealer down in elche..I would recommend them to anyone.and if you need anything else, just let me know..i,am from Llanelli south wales myself. and we have moved here permanent now since last month. all the best...

Hi Mike

My husband and I moved to Gran Alacant last November.  I have a UK car which is almost 5 years old so would want to get a new Spanish registered car rather than re-register mine.  Elche is where we do alll our main shopping so that would be handy.  Can you let me know name and address of dealer please.

Thanks

Bobbie

Hi Ed

We bought in Monovar last year, near the bull ring.  We are going out tomorrow to get electric and water turned on, coming back next Thursday.

Where in Monovar are you, we thought there were no Brits there!

We live in South Wales

Regards

Helen & Clive

Hi,

I've recently bought a flat near the bull ring and I'm planning to move there permanently. Just wanted to say hello to my neighbours lol.

Hello Helen and Clive,

We also live in South Wales, but are not Welsh. We would like to meet some people from Monovar in Monovar.

To speak to English speaking people we travel to La Romana and Pinoso.

We bought our property 12 years ago and visit for different lengths of time each year.

We came 2 weeks ago and are here until the middle of June.

Is there anyone out there like us?  We just want a chat and make friends close to where we live.  i.e. in the campo of Monovar towards Pinoso.

Are there any meeting places for English speaking people in Monovar?

Rita and Peter

Hi,

We moved to Las Lometas, near the campo between Pinoso and Monovar in August this year,  Both my children are now attending the local schools in Monovar and both are the only British children in the schools.  It seems most brits prefer Pinoso as it is a lovely town, however, we have found the people of Monovar to be friendly and very welcoming.  My kids are now making friends and we would like to do the same, as we live in the mountains in isolation, although we do come under Monovar for the town council etc.  Best thing we ever did!

Debbie and Steve.
