It has been a lovely Sunday, the winds and cold have gone so a reminder as why we all did this. Last Feb we completed on ours and were in shorts. Prob slightly mad as our neighbors had their fleeces on.

Pm us an email address and we can send the Monover blank form over for Padron.

I have yet to find the one for a bonfire certificate on their site lol

D&J

We took our passports, NIEs and escritora in to the town hall and completed a form, 2 days later we picked up our padron, very straight forward, are you people in the campo? We're in the old town near the leaning bell tower.

Hi Paul - agreed, that was pretty much our experience re Padron apart from a failed 1st visit even with prepped Spanish phrases, but that form did the job.

We are a little out of town up on Camino Pedrera but walkable into the centre. Catch up sometime. I recall you saying that last year people sometimes met up but of course, that was then and then it locked down, and we know what the situation is now...even if unsure whether we will see another lockdown. Plenty of time (we hope).

Cheers,

Dave

Yes we started to meet monthly at bar Ole near the town hall, hopefully we'll be able to get it going again in spring/summer, we occasionally pop up to Pedrer for a drink as the views are nice and Ximo the waiter has become a friend. I've now moved on from the Padron stage and yesterday received confirmation that my residency application has been processed and accepted, just waiting for my appointment at the Police station for finger printing and whatever else they need to do.

Well done, that is quite a relief when you get to that stage. It may be a little wait until we all receive our invitations for finger printing etc We had ours approved 30/11 and celebrated!

I've heard good reports about the restaurant and bar so good to hear your experience. We haven't been there as yet. It's within walking distance of us so when the restrictions lift, we will go and perhaps meet up? PM me a mobile number and will WhatsApp you.

Best wishes
