Hi, Thank You ..... it would be nice to meet up outside, maybe in the Plaza sometime soon. That’s why I came here too, so I could pop back n too to see my family 🥲 it’s not looking good for getting back in the near future x

There are a few people in our walking group based in Fontana and Cecillia in the village.  If on FB lookup Hiking - Walking meeting point Algorfa. it's not running and taking any new members due to Covid, but Sally can add you when it restarts.

Hi Natalie

Although I would thoroughly recommend being a gypsy (we lived in a tent for the winter 2 years ago), I wondered if you may be interested in renting a little house on the beach in Villajoyosa? It has 2 bedrooms, has been fully renovated and never been lived in. It is situated in the very pretty old town and is now ready to be let. We are happy to rent it for a week, a month or longer, depending on what somebody needs. You are welcome to come and have a look at it before it is advertised which we plan to do soon.

Un saludo Francesca.

xx

This has been my dream to move to Spain, and now I’m finally living it, but the sad thing is that this horrific virus has put a halt on my children and family visiting etc, I know I should think myself lucky as so far I’ve been well, but I honestly thought it wouldn’t be this long before I ...

...saw them. Also I’m not sure if Moraira is for me, what are your thoughts? I think that I may be a gypsy for a while and buy a camper van for me and my beautiful doggy and do lots of road trips that’s when we can finally travel and the restrictions are lifted, just really struggling as this has always been my dream but I’m finding it very hard at the moment, I know I’m not the only one I just wanted to know how you are all coping in this horrible time and not being with your families

Sorry to hear that, but completely understand, I moved somewhere I grew to hate and now I feel totally trapped here, the people here are awful, especially on my complex, next door neighbor's are British haters, making my life hell daily, I was warned about Madrillenas, now I can't move due to Covid, the only good thing is my daughter moved here before the outbreak. She hates it too, it was also my dream, which has become a nightmare, don't move to Los Altos it's the pits of Spain, full of ignorant, arrogant people, not British. Your not alone! Jean by

Feeling the same way up here Natalie, it's a year now since I've seen my son in England. I'm also missing my sisters in Scotland and I wasn't even able to go back for my mum's funeral in May, had to watch it on a webcam.

Denia isn't too depressing at the moment as it's a busier Spanish working town than Moraira. I was in Moraira a couple of weeks ago and it was sad to see it so quiet....

...

But stay positive, there's light at the end of the tunnel, things will get better eventually. Not sure how long you've been in Moraira, I think it's a lovely town but because it's so dependent on Spanish and overseas visitors it's difficult right now.

Keep your chin up!

Steve

I think everyone feels the same cannot belive we haven't seen our daughters and grandsons for a year desperate too see them and they feel the same hopefully once the vaccine rolls out we will able to travel take each day as it comes dont think to far ahead 👍
