University of the Third Age. Type in U3A Moraira and Teulada, then U3A Javea. There is one in Jalon Valley and one in Denia. All the information is on the website. Groups all over the UK, too.

Try Costa Female Friendship Circle - find on Facebook. Very friendly informal group of women who meet up as and when and share info. Good luck and may well see you around the next time we are over - which won’t be long with the grey wet weather in UK right now x
