We will be renting ours out to cover some of the costs as we will not be able to use it a lot of the time until my wife retires in a couple of years. I am retired so an hoping to spend a fair bit of time there though.

It would be useful to keep in touch about renting experiences such as advertising and making sure everything is done properly so we don't get into trouble 😁

I would recommend Anthony & Sally Bloom of Spanish Property Sales. They don't have an office but deal with all the estate agents. They don't charge you the buyer, they take you around to view, they are a fountain of knowledge. They gave us advice throughout the whole process and introduced us to a spanish lawyer who helped us with an NIE number & opening a bank account. We used various agents but were happiest with Anthony and Sally at Spanish Property Sales as they were incredibly friendly and professional and didn’t pressure us at anytime. They also introduced us to a great solicitor, Juan at Romeu, and many areas of interest that we hadn’t discovered.

We had a fabulous walk and picnic in the Jalon Valley today and the weather was fantastic. 

We will not be seeking residency until I have a better grasp of the tax implications. We have looked into getting a golden visa as a non eu resident which you may be able to apply for depending on what you intend to spend on a property.
