Hi definitely bring your tools because good tools are very expensive in Spain . I was a plumber. You can buy cheap tools in the Chinese but they won't be good quality. Furniture is expensive unless IKEA stuff is to you taste , which case there's one in Alicante and one in Murcia.

We did a one-way hire in June 2017

https://www.way2gohire.com/home/

At the time the total cost was around £1500 (van hire, ferry, fuel, insurance, etc.).

Our calculation, at the time, was that it would cost a lot more than £1500 to purchase (in Spain) the stuff that we brought from England, so it was an easy decision.

Hi

We took everything over.

I even bought new furniture as well as IKEA wardrobes still flat packed. Just didn't want to drive around trying to find furniture etc.

Regards
