general information on Benimarfull & surrounding areas

we are planning our retirement in Spain and we looking for property approx 1 hr from Alicante airport, an aea of interest is Benimarfull, just

asking what this town is like? quiet? lively? etc also the town of Muro De Alcoy, can all essentials be purchased in this town?

does benimarfull have expats?

as this will be our retirement i don't want to feel totally isolated, but would also enjoy tranquility, i enjoy walking my dogs and cycling &

socialising.

I enjoy seasonal weather and have been told that Benimarfull can have snow? along with a good summer which would be ideal

any advice/ information would be of great benefit.

Hi Barbara

I moved nearcto Agres (the sunny side of the mountain) last year and had snow in Dec and Mar this year but have been told it's been unusual weather.

I use Muro De Alcoy a lot and is a great little town (Agres is small and cold). Great Medical centre lots of cafes and supermarkets (I prefer Mercadona). I have lots of animals and have been able to find all food and support there. I love the town but just up the road is Cocentaina which has a great (B&Q style) shop called Aki next to Carrefour.

BTW we are also only just over the hour from Valencia airport. I have some friends in Agres but not sure of the village you asked about, but you will love anywhere so fine the right property I did and I wasn't looking for here!
