Help!
so newly arrived and because we live out in the campo - feeling very pleased that we’ve managed to sort a post box at Correos in Muro .
However, silly question - how do we know our address ? We have a post box number but not sure about the rest of it !!
Any suggestions gratefully received !

Hi JenDavid, please note not everything will go to your PO box. Even small items if being delivered by courier will not deliver to your box. I live in Agres Campo and meet couriers in Agres or similar with my NIE card. Not a big issue and they do arrive withing 15 mins of arranged time. DHL and some couriers may have local drop off points you can collect from.
Problem with Correos the have limited opening times that do not suite the couriers.

PS most couriers use Whatsapp and you can send your location from the app, if like me you dont have an actual address.

Usually Correos will put an official note in your box in this instance, for you to collect from the counter, armed with all official ID you can muster! NB they are unlikely to give an item addressed to your husband/wife to the other party without a letter of authorization and requisite ID which can be very irritating if the wrong person has gone to the office! They will normally keep it for about a week.

Normally they will hold it and send text to let you know. That was untill 2nd year now they do not bother but put a note in your box and you take this to the counter.
You need to check about once a week, I think they hold for 7 days.
