Surfshark have a deal on just now, with vat the two year plan costs around £57.
I was with Nord for around 8 years but since their new update in August last year Nord gave problems, very happy with surfshark.

The Opera Browser comes with a free VPN covering all my needs. Another altenative is the TOR Browser, and even better is switching to Linux/Ubuntu OS much safer that the Windows environment, much depending on what you are off for. In any case the best things in life are free....
Intreauged as to which part of "not tech savvy" would prompt you to suggest switching to uber teccy Linux!

Thank you for all your advice. We will be looking into all of them.
What surprises us is how good the TNS wireless Internet is. We can view entire games without buffering and moving to another stream because we have lost the picture. At home we can’t watch any episodes of anything on ITVX without logging in time and time again. Yet according to Virgin Media our broadband speed is one of their fastest and our router is their latest - which I doubt as we have had it for some time. Could the problem be that the router is located in a room (where our pc is located) above (but not directly above) the room where our TV is located?
