Good afternoon,
I am looking for the help of an interpreter to come with me to the Medical Center in Olivia to register for the COVID vaccine. I have all the paperwork required to get a temporary S1 but do not know what part of the Center to go to. I have tried twice but failed even though the staff were very helpful I just didn’t have enough Spanish to understand them.

Hi Peter, have you downloaded Google Translate on your phone? I translate to Spanish what I need to say. I then write it out on paper or whatever to give them. You can also hand them your phone and in a couple of seconds Translate will allow them to translate in English to you. Sounds complicated I know, but it's not, it's brilliant!!!!

This is roughly what I took to my local medical centre reception desk,
Buenos dias, es posible solicitar un numero temporal de S.I.P sin cobertura medica para que podamos ser contactados en el momento pertinente para que nuestro grupo de edad asista a la vacuna covid. No somos pensionistas y tenemos nuestra residencia, padron, N.I.E, pasaportes, seguro medico privado y un numero de telefono espanol. Gracias.

l was refused the first time as they did not understand me and I did not have a social security number? and the second time a up to date EHIC card!!!! long story!!! So still none the wiser!!!! But I will keep trying every week.
