We are buying a house near Oliva and used Hello2Spain and they were excellent. They are a small, originaly British agent who know the area really well. They were really helpful and have gone the extra  mile to help us. Info@hello2spain.com

Thanks dnh, I looked at their website and they do have some good properties. It's always better to have a reccomendation from those that have used the agents before.

Hi all. It's my 1st post on the forum and I'm sure I'll find all the information very useful. We're a British family but we've been living here in Bulgaria for just over 10 years now. Over the years we've been dismayed by the lack of improvement to the most important parts of the infrastructure, ...

We're thinking seriously about relocating to Spain, and the Oliva area looks very tempting to us. Can anyone recommend a good estate agent and if so could I have their website address please?

We've been looking on Rightmove and the prices seem to be too good to be true so we just wanted to get some advice from those of you that have already bought over there.

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance :)

Just wondering did you go through hello2spain and ended up with a place in Oliva?

I wouldn’t recommend my estate agent because we got ripped off by there lawyer who turned out not to be a lawyer... So I would suggest you get a lawyer separate  from the estate agent as seemingly this has happened before .... Also don’t go near ASSSA they are a rip off ....

Why limit yourself to one agent? Look on rightmove Spain or Kyero for places that suit you then enquirie from there.

Hello, I’m not sure where your buying but we used Robert and Tracy from orange casas and we truly could not fault them, they showed us exactly what we asked to see. They collected us and dropped us off after viewings, the two of them are extremely professional and it was a pleasure to do business with them, good luck in your search.

We also used hello to Spain and they are terrific, they got everything we asked for, even the lawyers who are great.

Hi - we have just bought through Oranges and Lemons. They were great and have been operating out of Oliva for a very long time. We settled on Oliva after looking at places nearer to Valencia - it has everything you need as well as being well connected (though the train doesnt quite get to Oliva, it does come as far as neighbouring Gandia, and in the other direction there's metro to Alicante from Denia - please correct me if I'm wrong, as we're completely new to the area!) It also remains primarily Spanish, being an hour from an international airport; many Spanish families have holiday homes in the area, but there are also French, German and British in decent numbers. The beach is fantastic, and you can find a quiet spot even in high season. Good luck!
