I am a registered dog breeder, but not for poodles.Try Caraby who will know one, they are in Benidorm & advertise in the English papers.Don't go to"someone with a bitch who is having a litter" as,believe me, you will be disappointed maybe long after.

I am not breeding dogs at present.I have my own prefix with the Kennel Club & since then have bred Yorkies & Cairn Terriers in Scotland & later switched to German Shepherds & Cavalier King Charles.Poodles are a really lovely breed, all types,& I am sure you will find a good breeder here .When I came in the 1980's I found that the Spanish were very fond of them.I had a boarding kennels/cattery here & had lots in for holidays.Good luck .

Not for you if you do not like grooming.Cavaliers were only bred to sit on your lap,be your companion. But they have a full coat with a "plume" at the end of the tail.Sorry,as a serious breeder I consider the fashion of combining breeds & giving them an alternative name does not detract them from the fact that they are really"mongrels".The reason I gave up on Yorkshire Terriers was because they were so popular that novices were breeding anything to anything which resulted in them with dropped ears, poor mouths & even being stated as "black & tan" rather than the standard"blue & tan"& they came in so many different sizes because the owners did not know what size of stud & brood bitch was required they ended up with quite awful creatures. My original Cavalier breeding stock came from the line of the first British breeders many years ago & once again I found that they were being bred by amateurs who unfortunately introduced the sort of problems they developed with heart conditions etc.I kept my line clear by only introducing bloodlines from Continental breeders to add to mine.My GSD's had only German bloodlines from working dogs mostly used by european Police forces so not the kind of pedigree most buyers were used to seeing. If you want a proper pedigree pet dog I would say you should use a breeder who knows & is interested in keeping the correct breed standard.Otherwise there are many nice little dogs in animal shelters who would love a new home.I am sure you will find a new pet who will give you years of pleasure whatever their heritage.

Hello

I am currently viewing and contacting about 8 rescue centres. I have lots of allergies I have had pedigree black miniature poodles since I was 8 years old and my current dog is a cockapoo because I was so heartbroken when I lost my last one so had a change. My current dog needs grooming daily. I am moving to Spain on my own want something that doesn’t need too much exercise  that is a small/medium and loves cuddles and would be great company. The grooming is not issues the shedding however is? My cockapoo is the first mixed breed / mongrel all others have had excellent pedigrees and KC registered. So going back to my original question how much do cavalier King Charles shed.? Ralphie is staying home as he has been attacked a few times and doesn’t mix well with new dogs but loves people and children so better for him to stay in his routine he is use to.

Sorry to mussel in on your conversation .I am moving over to Murcia and will be looking for a dachshund breeder ,I already have one and putting off getting another until our Permanente move .Any information on breeders there would be appreciated. They must be registered and reputable. I'm only interested in a pedigree .
