Quite right Nicola.You can get a list of registered breeders from the Spanish Kennel Club.They are the same kind of enterprise as in UK,I was able to register with them as I did with our British K.C.

So Glad to help.I didn't realise that the people don't know that Breeders of whatever(I bred parrots & belonged to the Parrot Society) are a global group & share the same interest! In fact you will find that Spanish dog breeders or any other nationality are very serious in keeping the standard of their particular breed & are in touch with others.Not only at exhibitions like "Crufts".I was not much involved with exhibition dogs as the breeding aspect was my passion,you can buy a lovely specimen if you have enough cash & pay someone to show him/her around the rings under your name.Whereas every pup I bred was given MY prefix on the pedigree.Just my arrogant opinion though.Good luck to all who are looking for a new companion.

I'm new to this so not sure if I should be writing on this or sending email. I want to buy a toy Maltese from Spain. We where just there for 3 months in our motorhome and seen 3 of these gorgeous little Maltese dogs and seems Spain is where we can get one, going back in February. Can anyone help. Thanks
