A friend in the UK has forwarded to me (via a Post Shop) a package of letters and there is a Customs charge to pay on it. The contents have no commercial value.
Does anyone know how the Customs declaration should be phrased to avoid this happening next time?

I do not know but wish I did as my daughter sent me a card by track and trace from the Royal Mail cost her £9 and I had to pay €10 before I was allowed it from Correos.
What a rip off!!!!

I think mine is bills and/or statements, no commercial value. There must be a better way to deal....
