Has anybody used a local manufacture of face masks.

Why bother? The chemist I use is selling the ordinary surgical masks for 78 cents.
Bear in mind that the mask you wear protects other people - it doesn't protect you. If you want protection, then wear a face shield. I've done that in Aldi and Consum, was able to breathe comfortably and without my specs steaming up, and it protected both myself and other people I came close to.

I agree, Ray. That's why I've not used the shield this last few days.
Correction - I have used it - it's much better than the paint spray mask I used to use when running my sander on the workshop.
