Hi all

We will be visiting cabo roig on the 2nd July. We are hoping to complete on our property just before or while we are there and we are a few minutes walk from the commercial centre.

So just a few questions

Is there a bus to the nearest beach ? Don't want to drive every day. If so where is it?

What are the best restaurants at the commercial centre. We love Indian food so hoping there is an Inidan there.

Don't know if you can help with this but still not quite sure of our communal fees ? Its a quad bungalow Calle cabo de palos so if anyone knows of that road and can help that would be great.

We are getting excited and we have both had our jabs just hoping Spain stays on the Amber list would love green but manageable on Amber

Thanks

Bev

Hi Bev

Re bus and beach - there's a bus stop close to Iceland.

If you catch it on the same side of the road as Iceland, it will take you to La Fuente centre, then Villamartin Plaza (so beloved by the program "a place in the sun!"), then La Zenia  Boulevard.  The Boulevard is the official terminus, but if you keep your ticket you can wait for it to depart to Playa Flamenca beach, at which point it starts the return leg (yes, it's confusing)

If you go the other way then, in July and August, the bus will take you to the beach at Campoamor. Throughout the year, you can get off at the health centre (terminus) and then walk to either Cabo Rog beach, or to Campoamor.

Thank you - we usually stay in Punta prima and go everywhere by foot or car but now were a bit further inland we will need to familiar with public transport

Thanks for your reply

To be blunt, the public transport is utter rubbish. You will need a car to get away from Lomas de cabo Roig. We are very  familiar with Punta Prima, its so much easier there. The buses through Lomas de cabo Roig are rare
