I've just received a notice, supposedly from Hidragua, saying that I'm about to be disconnected. They got my NIE number right, but everything else is incorrect (name, address, contract number etc.) There are a number of links in the email as well as a demand for payment.
I think "Beware" is the operative word here. I've copied the content of the email and sent it to Hidragua.
Be careful out there.

If you're not registered with Hidraqua for electronic communications, then any such email is definitely a scam.
If you are registered and get an iffy looking email, it's easy to check the email address from which it was sent.
