Hi Forum friends. We will be over at the end of November until 5th October with a 14yr old grandson and 10 yr old granddaughter. Can anyone tell me what activities will be available at this time of year. Is it likely to be still warm enough for swimming...as I believe The Emerald Isle have a pool and quite a lot going on for families. TIA

Hi,

You may be lucky with the weather but I'm not sure that it will be warm enough for swimming. We had Sunday lunch at The Emerald Isle and it was great. Whilst there we saw the pool, a kids activity area and bouncy castle. We've got grandchildren coming over for October half term and will certainly be going there, all that they ask is that you buy your food and drinks there and don't bring your own which is a reasonable request. A lot of places that you would take young people to are closed out of the summer holidays but Elche Zoo is open and there are lots of coach companies that do day trips to various destinations, try looking online at David's coaches. La Zenia boulevard is excellent for shopping and a visit to Benidorm would probably appeal to young people too.

I hope you enjoy your time with your grandchildren.

Chris.

Thankyou so much Chris. The kids were  over in July so were  able to enjoy the pool all day. I will check out the day trips and hopefully find enough to keep both of them occupied for 4 days 🤞
