12 am to 8 am low rate

8 am to 10 am intermediate rate

10 am to 2 pm high rate

2 pm to 6 pm intermediate rate

6 pm to 10 pm high rate

10 pm to 12 am intermediate rate

Weekends and holidays are all low rate times.

I’ve had a bill since the change and it was exactly the same. It seems if you are already on the night time plan nothing has changed.

The new rates are for people who are on standard rates, I imagine.

Same here... No change to the day/night plan started in Feb.

Hi Jeff,

I´m on "Plan Noche" and received a letter from Iberdrola advising that the new rates would not affect my plan; this is reflected in my latest bill.

The times for Plan Noche are:

Winter:          Peak - 12:00 to 22:00  Off peak - 22:00 to 12:00

Summer:       Peak - 13:00 to 23:00  Off peak - 23:00 to 13:00

The rates switch from Winter to Summer when the clocks go forward in May and return to Winter when the clocks go back in October.

It´s also worth noting that from June until Christmas, the Spanish government has reduced the rate of IVA (Spanish VAT) on electricity bills to 5%.

Kind regards,

Kim
