A friend  in the UK is wanting to visit their house in Spain..

What are the entry requirements please? Is a  Covid vaccination certificate necessary? Can they come to maintain their house in Spain? What proof is needed, should they wish to put their house on the market whist they  are here?

I appreciate that things can change.

Hi Linda

Unfortunately, wanting to maintain their house is not a justifiable reason for entry into Spain. Currently, if you can’t prove residency, it’s highly unlikely you’ll be granted entry. I say highly unlikely as it was expected that if you could demonstrate you had applied for residency; that you were just waiting to pick up your TIE, you would be granted entry. This position seems less than clear at the moment. 🤪🥂

Hi Linda N. I doubt whether will be allowed to fly from the UK to Spain for that reason. They can check out valid reasons to fly and procedures necessary on the Gov.UK site.

Best wishes. Jackie
