What is there to do in pego?

Yes, there is a market on Thursday.
There is a tourist information office: http://www.pegoilesvalls.es/en/inicio
Various sports clubs, indoor pool and gym (not expensive), various charities that are crying out for volunteers, U3A in Oliva, marjal nature reserve for walks and birding, beach about 12 mins away by car. There is a very small theatre, but I am not sure what is staged there and how often. The nearest cinema is in Oliva, (shows films in English with Spanish subtitles and vice versa on certain nights).
There is a Facebook page called Pego Connect, which might be helpful
