Hello

Can anyone recommend a cheap internet and tv package as we are only here six months of the year. Does the amazon fire stick work in Spain? Does NOW TV work in Spain? It is only TV and internet we want. We pay 30 euros a month at the moment with tele east in pilar de la horadada.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Julia

We moved to Campoverde about 7 weeks ago. We kept a place in the UK, where we have Amazon Prime Fire TV & Netflix accounts.

We brought our Amazon Fire TV gadget with us. There is no fibre near our house in Campoverde, so San Pedro Wifi put up a small (20cm) dish for us that gets good broadband.  Overplay.net provide a service that enables our Amazon TV gadget to work here.

That arrangement gets us live TV (free to air channels), catchup (iPlayer, All4 etc), Amazon and Netflix.

I'm no tekkie, but the San Pedro installer set it all up.

Live TV can be flaky (buffering etc), catchup is good, Amazon & Netflx are very good.

Live TV isn't important to us.

This arrangement won't work for everyone as we don't get Sky channels,  and we can't record TV, but it works for us as (like you) we plan to split our time between here and the UK.

San Pedro Wifi costs around 25 Euros/month.

Overplay.net costs $5/month.

We are paying the around same price as you. It depends on what channels/services you want.
