Gas to electric cooker
I'm thinking of changing from gas to electric cooker . Is it advisable in older apartments. Not many standalone cookers on display in shops. Any advice

Personally I would go with electric though you will have to check if there is a electrical cooker point available in your kitchen and that your electricity supply is sufficient for the additional power that a cooker requires.
If you put "standalone electric cookers" into google a large selection comes up, with a wide price range.

Hello
I have an electric oven and a gas hob. I inherited this system when I bought 21 years ago ( electricity always used to go off so often in the busy summer months), so it has always worked for me.
1 x gas bottle lasts me about a year

Make sure the potentia is sufficient. If it needs raising to a higher level you man need a rewire and a bolletin. I had an apartment for rental and changed to oven and hob. The original al kitchen was 2 microwaves and as little as possible anything else. Needed new cable from meter, fuse box upgrading and wiring checked. Then a bolletin sending to the electric supplier before they would increase the potentia.
