SIP card

Just been issued with a SIP card but no explanations.
On the back of it is the name of a doctor and I was wondering do I have to see this doctor or can I choose a different one.

I assume you got your SIP from your nearest Central Salud, the Dr you have been allocated by the Salud will be the one you make appts with when you visit as a patient.

Even though you have been assigned a doctor you will see any doctor available when your doctor is unavailable.

You can make appointments and register your prescriptions here
YoSalud
This allows you to “chat” with your doctor and request appointments. I needed to get a password from the reception of my health centre.
There may be other helpful sites and apps which I have yet to discover.
