I have forgotten my gps for the car and wondering if there is anywhere local that I can hire a gps system whilst in campoverde.

Hi Halforj

I take it you're talking about a Satnav. If you have a smartfone and internet access have you considered using google maps ?  You can download the google map of the area to your smartfone which will stay accessable on your smartfone for 30 days, I think I remember,  then use your smartphone to find your way around. You can buy  cheap smartphone screen holders from any of the Chinese shops.  I used it when I was there in February / March and  found it to work very well. It's not quite the same as a satnav but it would save you having to buy another one.

Just a thought.

If you have android smart phone, download Here maps from Google Play and then download Spain maps using WiFi. When downloaded select use off line in settings and it works like a satnav. Other countries are available and to save space uninstall each country when you don't need it as you can then reinstall  when you want to use again. This way you will always get the latest updates from each country.

Whilst using in the car you will need to keep the phone connected to the in car charger as it uses a fair amount of battery whilst in operation, just like a satnav does.
