Apparently, the street calle caballito de mar comes under Orihuela Costa whereas most of this area comes under Torrevieja. I’m told that this is the reason why it’s not had any work done on it. It’s in a terrible state both for cars and people walking but for me and other mobility scooter/wheelchair users it’s a nightmare. It’s absolutely terrible to pass as it’s got holes and bumps and rubble, there’s no drop to get on the pavement and if I could there’s bushes growing right across it. Where and who do I contact about this. It’s the only route I have to get to the strip unless I go onto the very very busy road at the end of av de las Olas which is too scary.
