While we were walking over the rough terrain in front of the new apartments, on our way back to the car, I almost tripped when my tie hit an embedded stone. Within a minute or so, I heard a commotion, looked around and saw a lady lying on the ground. My husband and I immediately went to her aid    Ali g with her husband, we tried to help her up. It became apparent that she had hurt her left hip. The husband was sent off to get the car and we stayed with her and helped her over to sit on the ridge. Poor woman was in agony.  Once the car arrived and he reversed down the track, we managed to get her into it but she should have gone on an ambulance in my opinion. The couple were elderly and German. I’m wondering if anyone might know who they are and if so, how she is. Poor woman was so unlucky.

Sorry for making light of this (I know I shouldn't) but great mistyping there. You must have had on a very long tie if it hit a stone on the ground.

(yes, I know you meant toe).

Hadn’t noticed the misspelling!  No tie anywhere to be seen.
Not knowing where this couple reside makes my question almost impossible to answer. Anyway, who knows!

And I love that Ali G was there to help too.

But seriously I hope the woman is ok.

I stumbled in a hole on rough ground a couple of years ago, it had a big stone in it, which broke my ankle, I wasn't allowed to put weight on it for 5 weeks.  All my own fault, wasn't looking where I was going !
