Just feel I have to post this message regarding the company Ambience Fires & Solar based in Ciudad Quesda.

I have had the misfortune of buying a Wood Burner from them which is not fit for purpose.Their Salesman / Owner visited my property and told me the stove he recommended would be more than adequate for my requirements, he did not offer me any other options .I tried calling the company on numerous occasions and was fobbed off and the owner refused to answer my calls and a request to re visit my property to discuss the matter was dismissed out of hand.

I was told he would only talk to me if I wished to order a different model which i was wasn't offered in the first place. I couldn't believe the audacity of this suggestion.I have since had , at my own expense had an independant Log Burner company check the installation, they could not believe how the Wood Burner was installed ( totally shoddy and incorrectly fitted in their opinion )

I have since looked at past reviews for this company and there seems to be a common theme here regarding total lack of customer service and after sales service.

I now find myself considerably out of pocket with a log burner that is no good to me.

Hi Michael,

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. Ambience was 1 of 3 companies from which I obtained quotes when we wanted to replace our gas fire for a pellet burner. I wanted the flue to go through the wall behind the burner into an external, double-skinned, stainless steel chimney. The guy who came from Ambience (Chris?) gave us a quote without even getting off our sofa. I found him arrogant and not interested in what we, as the customers, wanted.

We went with Budget Burners, a family run business in La Marina - I'd highly recommend Warren and his father, who also installed a wood burner at our friends' house.
