Hi everyone

We are moving over to our Quesada house around 12th December and looking to get our Padron asap after we arrive - particularly before 31st December

Does anyone know the process for this at Rojales town hall and are they plenty of appointment available - possibly on the day - just a walk in ?

Any other advice please about getting our Padron would be helpful

Thanks - Chris

You mention the 31st December.

This date is important for submitting a qualifying Residency/TIE application, for you to be protected under the Withdrawal Agreement.

If you aren't submitting for Residency by 31/12/20, the Padron is not especially relevant.

Apply for your Padron as soon as you can, but the 31/12/20 date has no significance.

Hi chrissut74,

I would be very surprised if you could get this done without an appointment - because of Covid-19 restrictions, all the town halls are mandating appointments for these types of procedures.

Kind regards,

Kim

You definitely did.   I received my 5-year letter from Almoradi town hall to renew my padron (not just the piece of paper!) but still had to make an appointment.   No-one is allowed to enter the town hall without an appointment or unless they work there and the person at the door has a list of those who have appointments.
