How long to wait for a dermatologist at Torrevieja.

I've used Torrevieja hospital's dermatologist many times for consultations and removal of various skin cancers. The time from the doctors appointment to receiving my text and phone call has varied from one week ( they had a cancellation) and 3 months,when they had a backlog from the pandemic.  Generally I usually receive the call in about 6 weeks.

Another thing to check either at your Salud or by calling the hospital reception is that they have your correct phone number as many years ago they had one digit wrong on mine.

As posted by someone else, there was a very recent response to a question relating to yours. The OP said that there is, curreently  only one dermatologist at Torrevieja Hospital   which is causing quite a delay for appts.  Search for the topic and you might find further information

Back in mid June I waited 4 weeks to hear from them and the appointment was 1.5 weeks after that.  Hope all goes well for you.

Hi , thanks for all the replies, I think I will  just wait another week and then ask at the hospital.

I read elsewhere that you go down the stairs to an admin office and ask there, and take my appoint slip.

Just an updateIt's been 2 months waiting for the dermatology dept to ring me. The doc tells me to keep waiting.
