I took out the medical insurance for the visa but cannot seem to contact them. Can anybody give me any contact information as tried the phone numbers and quoted the customer number on the card to no avail.

Did you take out the insurance direct with Sanitas, or via an insurance agent? If the latter, the agent should help you.
