ITV test center Villena

Has anyone got any experience of taking there car to the ITV test center in Villena? How was it? How long does it take? Do you need to be able to speak spanish?
I have taken a car through with no problem and I do not speak more than a few basic words. However, there is a ' batting ' order and you can Google the format, in the same place you book your slot. This helps you know what's required. Friendly place and well run.

I, m confused as I have a holiday home in Villena and was told 4 yrs ago the closest itv station was in St Eulalia where I,ve taken the car on 3 occasions. Where is there one in Villena? When I book appointment it always points me to St Eulalia one.

Yes, you are quite right is close to Santa Eulalia, well outside Villena on Salida 191 on the A31. It's sign-posed to the ITV place.
Even though I live very close to this place and have used it on many occasions I found that they are very pedantic and will nit-pick silly things. I now go to La Rodonda in Yecla. It's never that busy and I have had no problems there.
I was told that Santa Eulalia ITV is a training site which might explain the nit-picking.
If you go to the La Rodonda website you can book your car in for whatever time you like and go straight to the front of the queue.

This ITV is mid way between Sax and Villena on the A31 Salida 191. Officially it is called ITV Villena so that should be your first choice if looking it up on the net.
I live 500m down the road from there in La Colonia de Santa Eulalia which is on the opposite side of the A31 from the ITV.
