Does anyone have problems receiving calls on their mobiles in the area?  We have missed so many since we have been here.

Is it to do with the internet provider, the mobile operator or just this area.  We have calls cut off too.

We are thinking of having a land line installed. Who do we go with or would the same thing happen too. Thank you. Jo.

I don’t live near you, but we are miles out in the campo. In our experience it can be a combination of effects. There are whole areas here where the phone signal completely disappears and I hate receiving calls made through WhatsApp as the quality of sound is dreadful. The internet drops in and out, due to the distance and line of sight to the transmitter, we were told that we are at the absolute end of where it’s possible to have a satellite. The phone service, where it exists which is luckily most of the time in our house, is reasonable, we use Orange as do many here, as I understand they have a mast not too far away. You are lucky if you have the possibility of a landline, absolutely no chance here!
