As Spain is in lockdown and Matt Hancock is looking for some extra ventilators, only 10000, how about some of us enterprising types get together in our sheds and knock a few together?

Jim can do the research and I’ve got an old compressor lying around somewhere, how hard can it be if JCB can do it the expats can and none of that EU medical equipment devices regulation to stand in our way.

Another thought, Could this be used mountable (ie on a small trolley with wheels) which could be converted for liquid, received orally by the patient, as opposed for inhalation purposes, in order that  the recipient can self-administer liquids (for example, lets say) gin & tonic? whilst travelling from "lockdown" base point to shops etc. whilst the bars are closed? You´re the inventor.

I could still market it as a JCB GT..

How about a peddle powered version? Convert your bike as you have to stay at home.

could work. Start into production. I´ll sort out the advertisements. (via admin on the forum,FREE ) as it´s going to be as a community aid ploy!

There will surely soon be a surplus of cardboard toilet roll holders we can utilise.

JCB did sound like a bit of a stretch for ‘switching production’ - diggers and ventilators seem pretty far removed from one another. I expected it to be Dyson as the flag bearer on this, less of a leap in technology? But then again he’s in Singapore now after he jumped ship pre Br**it.

Does pasta "ferment" easily, with a little yeast & sugar at home?
