Palm Weevil

Roughly what is the cost to remove a palm with the palm Weevil. I have been quoted prices varying by €200.

Palm trees are under protection and removing them can get you in heavy trouble.

Contact Matt Dread of MJ Gardening. He quoted me 250€ for a very large palm. He will check first whether it has got the weevil.
I had some guys round who were trying to rip me off. They produced some little animal which looked like a baby mole and said my palm is very dangerous, likely to fall on the pavement and kill someone. They quoted 450€, I said I haven’t got the money, they said go to bank and get it. I said there is no money in the bank. The price then came down to 300€. I said I haven’t got that either. After arguing for about 30 Mins they said if I give them 100€ they can buy a chemical to treat palm. I was getting fed up and said I have no money. They then left in a white van with a yellow sign on it.
Matt Dread came and said my palm is healthy.
They must have thought I was stupid.
