am i breaking the law?

hola everyone,
I own my property and have been putting left over bread in my garden for the birds.my neighbour is demanding I stop.can someone tell me if its illegal in Spain .

Don't know if it is legal or not but i have to say i agree with your neighbours
Tell your neighbour to mind their own business, it's not illegal at all but invasion of privacy is.
That said bread isn't the best for birds, small amounts are OK but you can buy feeders and bird seed in most pet sections of shops and that is better for them.
My guess is they wont be happy with that either, probably worried about pests like rats feeding off of the scraps. Possibly believes Sparrows themselves are a pest, which they can be. Still your house you can do what you like.
